Expanding Your Understanding of Yourself as well as the Tao

To understand the Tao, and yourself, it is necessary to allow the Tao to be experienced in all aspects. These aspects are not only those of allowing things to happen to you but also acting upon your own feelings and desires as well. Some believe that it has to be either or. Either you direct or the Tao directs. The reality is that both are necessary - you as well as the Tao. This produces balance.

Now, when your desires are not strong, then could one assume that it is a period of quiescence? A period where the Tao is directing experiences and that when the vision or desire is rekindled, the process is completed and it is now time for your direction. So, do you feel a strong sense of direction? You generally have an idea of an eventual goal though, so now is the time for discovery, to sense what happens. To sense the Tao in your life.

How do you do this?  Well, there is discovery meditations. There are dreams. There are flashes of inspiration. For example your dreams, are they many and varied?  If yes, are they overly powerful?  If not, this is a clue that your Higher Self, your Subconscious self, and your Energetic self are seeking and searching but have not yet discovered the proper path.  When a dream comes or a meditation comes that is powerful then one can sense the direction and desires.

What does this mean?  That varies from individual to individual. The greater the level of insight or wisdom or working with subtle energies (spiritual energy skills and gifts) the individual has just achieved or completed will have a bearing upon the length of that consolidation period, but also the degree of difficulty of the next level.

This will  be a factor for their Higher Self to sense and determine what next steps and wishes the person is to have. This is because the Higher Self wants to be sure that she/he has the necessary capabilities to understand and comprehend and that she/he has the necessary depth and breadth to take best advantage of the possibilities.

Another word of advice. During these times of consolidation, it may well be worth your while to examine past experiences and learnings for deeper meaning and knowledge; for example, you have experienced the sensing gifts; truth, future, personality. It would be wise to continue to seek experiences where these may be exercised and in this manner broaden your base of experience and therefore helping your Higher Self in her/his understanding as well.

Focus on those aspects that you have learned and seek the broader and deeper understanding. Your desires will lead you to newer avenues of learning and experience. The concept is that experience and knowledge produces wisdom.

Whether you realize it or not, you are manufacturing wisdom, not only for your Higher Self but your mental self as well. Deep within you, you are busily humming away, sorting things out, classifying experiences. You are expanding your awareness, insight, and consciousness.

Now a word of caution and advice.  If your spiritual growth has been they will need more periods of consolidation in order to absorb, comprehend, and understand what they have just experienced or learned. The period of acquiescence and consolidation will be somewhat deeper and more prolonged than normal.

A Meditation Experience of Seeing the Whole

During a meditation I climbed up a thread and way up there were a couple of my mates. They joined me in continuing to climb up this thread. At the end of this thread it looked like a spiral of energy, similar to what I see when I do iChing readings. I climbed through the center of this swirl and stood. I now saw it was not flat, but a huge ball of energy. I then started to converse with this energy, I suppose via telepathy. The energy was just energy - not in any type of form at all. I looked out and could now see that ALL of these other Tao's were connected to THIS source. I could see that each Tao had come from this source. I could also now see what the Harmonies meant by "the other side of the Tao" - they were on the other side of OUR Tao, but there was a SOURCE TAO, from which all of us were connected.

I could also see how our Tao impacted other Tao's - similar to how in Acupuncture you can impact an organ, such as the Kidneys, by rubbing the bottom of the foot. We are all connected, and the failures in humanity on our earth were impacting them - hence, their desire to help us, because it also helped them.

I could also see that progression meant returning to the Tao, and then, you are whole, but become a Tao yourself. You then spawn off fragments so you can learn and grown, but also the fragments can learn & grow.

The cycle of life. Always, the cycle, and recycling of life. I now could see the WHOLE. It was like seeing a map of the world, and I now could see where I was in this map. I could also see it light up like a kundalini with all the other Tao's! Things were balanced and flowing in unison. THIS is what had been hoped. THIS was that moment I desired to have to better understand the whole.

Beginning Steps to Explore the Metaphysical Tao

In the 1990’s, humanity received a gift of new energy known as the Shialude. The result of this energy is the means for humanity to expand consciousness and awareness in every way. One of these ways provides more ease in being able to project one’s energetic self to go deeper and further in the Tao. Before the Shialude energy was shared with humanity, projecting and visiting other levels of the Tao was pretty much confined to primarily the astral plane. But now we can access additional planes of the Tao.

My mental construct of the Tao is based on the book “Messages from Michael” by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro.  In this model there are 7+ levels with the Tao and movement and advancement from one level to the next is a path of progression and growth.

This energetic model of different levels and vibrations of the Tao is also similar to the model of the  7+ chakras within our spiritual body. Since we are a fragment of the Tao, we are also a microcosm of the Tao, so it makes sense that we would have a similar conceptual model as the Tao. This mental construct of different levels with a path of growth and change has been the framework I've been using to conceptualize where I visit and interact with Spiritual Beings throughout the Tao.

Over the years I have been projecting my energetic self to meet and converse with different spiritual beings - often not knowing where I am during these visits. Sometimes I will have a guide, but most of the time I don't. Needless to say, my methodology has been mostly a kind of trial and error approach. Occasionally I have had experiences I didn't expect and was totally unprepared for. This would require me to use my Qigong skills to direct protective energy and push potential threats away from me due to my fear or lack of understanding. I concluded I needed more guidance and help as I went deeper and further into the Tao levels.

A spiritual being I call “The Microbiologist” offered two Spiritual Guides to assist me in my quest to explore the Metaphysical Tao; Ian and Rhonda.

I met the Microbiologist when I was doing a Qigong healing on my very first cancer patient. He just showed up next to me. My client was laying down on the treatment table and I was standing over her. The Microbiologist,  a very tall spiritual being, was now standing next to me. I immediately knew he was here to help with this treatment. His presence immediately calmed me and I now felt more confident this treatment would be successful. He then took my hands in his and enveloped my hands with loving energy. I was overcome with a sensation of love and support. He then guided my hands to the places in her body with cancer and seemed to "will or encourage" those cells to come into my hands and be scooped out of her body. This was such a dramatic lesson on the power of love as well as respecting the cancer cells to want to leave her body.

Now, this same spiritual being, the Microbiologist, was providing me a new way to continue my learnings and growth. I now had two spiritual guides to help me explore the metaphysical/spiritual side of the Tao.

The Tao

In the beginning there was dust, atoms, gas, the Tao. As the species evolved over the millions of years of development, the intellect of each descending species increased and therefore the capacity for abstract thought also increased. At some point of development, the species felt a necessity to perhaps bring order to the chaos they lived in along with a guiding principle of concept that would protect and give direction. And the Tao was everything.

In order for the TAO to broaden its experience, it decided to create this earth existence and divide itself upon it. The purpose was to gain the greatest diversity of experience. And in order for the Tao to learn, progress, and grow, the Tao chose to break into smaller pieces. We call these smaller pieces “fragments” of the Tao. Some of these fragments are us. You are a fragment of the Tao. The earth is also one of those fragments, so the earth is a fragment of the Tao. (Some people use the word “Tao” for God).  The Tao (or some call it "Dow") is the total gathering of information, knowledge, wisdom, energy, etc. It is the sum of all existence, both what you can sense and that which you have no concept of. It is everything that is.

Besides breaking into fragments, a process was developed and created that could help the fragments rejoin the Tao.  But part of that process was to learn and gain experience. It was the process of going through different experiences and incarnations that would help the fragment, as well as the Tao learn, progress, and grow. And the most frequent process used for gaining experience, learning, and growing was done by first incarnating and then assessing the incarnation after one dies.  And then after that, planning a new incarnation experience with different experiences to see how the fragment would react and engage in those different circumstances.

Eventually the fragment has learned and experienced all they set out to do and then the fragment combines with another fragment, being a dual or combined fragment.  And then continues with their progression and combines with a trio, etc. In this process the fragment and joined fragments experiencing life in and through a myriad of levels and eventually recollect back to the Tao.

The purpose of the Tao in fragmenting was to produce an infinite number of possibilities that may be experienced; both positive and negative. Having said this though, one would assume that there would be equal portions of positive and negative. However, this again is not the purpose of the Tao. For more energy that feeds the Tao is derived from positive experiences. In other words, the Tao itself desires increased energy and the best way to obtain this is through positive experiences. Therefore, the Tao, in its wisdom, devised mechanisms that would skew the experiences more towards the positive aspect, therefore producing an increase in positive experiences.

Therefore, early in man's and woman’s civilization there were operating techniques that strove to produce positive energies. By bringing together large numbers of fragments in various soul ages, the possibility of new and varied experiences is maximized through their interactions. But there needed to be a skewing mechanism that would produce more positive than negative energies. This skewing mechanism can be considered “government” or social structures.  These groups that define social order can provide order so that the maximum numbers of people may associate together in harmony through governing of its citizens.

The Tao did not plan experiences but only a mechanism or an engine to generate a grand diversity of experiences through uncontrolled interactions.  We at times limit the Tao to what we comprehend. Obviously the Tao, knowing that many combinations of fragment energies would produce unlikely products as well as likely products, would have assumed that a group of fragments would have been more in tune to the energies than others. Therefore a framework of expectations could have been expected so that the Tao, although experiencing unknown and unexpected experiences could rely on anticipated combinations and groups. In other words, simply due to the great vastness of fragment numbers and lives, all possibilities can be expected both those which are positive and those which are negative.

The purpose of your life in its ultimate dimension or understanding is an opportunity to experience something that the Tao has not yet experienced before.

The Tao allows both positive and negative energy in our lives. Negative energy often provides humanity with the ability to learn and grow in very different ways than positive energy. But positive energy is the source of life itself, so the scale needs to be tipped towards having more positive energy than negative energy and things need to be out-of-balance in order to sustain the continuation of life. There needs to be more positive energy than negative energy.

There are several built-in mechanisms to help create more positive energy.  One is our desire to feel good.  This desire for these feelings will lead us to create more opportunities to provide us with these sensations.  These sensations, such as a feeling of love and acceptance, or pleasures from food, or sex, music, knowledge, insight, awareness, are all sensations that are felt with the creation or expansion of spiritual energy!  In other words, there is a mechanism within us that helps continue to motivate or drive us to create and experience more positive energy and this positive energy is a source we use to create, expand, and develop spiritual gifts.

The other mechanism to help assure there is an unequal balance of more positive energy is the law of karmic debt.  There is negative karma and when that is created, the repayment often includes “interest.”  Often during our debt repayment process, we end up doing more good and creating even more positive energy than was created in the original negative experience. The end result is more positive energy in the world is being created. The Tao is no longer in equal balance of energy. This creates an even greater amount of positive energy in the world for us all to enjoy.

Summary

The Tao desires to learn and grow and the way to learn and grow is through having diverse experiences.  Diverse experiences are both positive and negative. Positive experiences have greater value, however, because this energy is the source of life itself. There is a built-in mechanism to assure the balance of energy will be towards positive energy because it is this energy that fuels life itself.  Positive energy is the source of how we enjoy life. Being able to create more positive energy and also learning how to refine this energy to be used for more specific purposes, such as for certain types of spiritual experiences, can help us create even more joy and pleasure in our lives.

The Tao, God, or Goddess - What is the Difference?

What is the difference between the Tao, God, or the Goddess?

The Tao
The Tao is everything. The Tao is all form and formlessness. The Tao is all thought and absence of thought. It includes all desires and the absence of desires. The Tao is all action and inaction. The Tao is everywhere; it is all here and all there. The Tao is the named and the unnamed. It is the beginning and the end. It is positive and negative as well as the divine and undivine. The Tao is all.

God
One can perceive or learn about the Tao by focusing on different aspects of the Tao. For example, some will give form and traits to the Tao and call it God. A person will often assign characteristics and traits based on what they know – a human figure that is male. Often this conceptualization of a divine male figure will include personality traits of a father figure and be called Heavenly Father. The figure may also be given additional male qualities such as being a protector and provider. Most will view this concept of God with fondness, and love, but others may also see this figure as having domineering qualities, such as being chauvinistic, judgmental, or requiring proof of their adoration. In other words, positive as well as negative human behaviors are often bestowed and shrouded upon this conceptual God.

Goddess
Others may conceptualize the Tao into the Goddess, a divine female form, or the concept of nature, or perhaps the planet earth. Often the feminine qualities are given to the Goddess, such as beauty, kindness, and gentleness. At other times, the traits of a temptress or a manipulator are attached to the concept of the Goddess as well.

God & Goddess are Subsets of the Tao
The concepts of a God or Goddess are essentially representations or subsets of the Tao. They are microcosms of the Tao. They provide a way to conceptualize and understand ourselves. They provide a way for us to visualize the maleness and femaleness of the Tao and understand the energies, behaviors, emotions, the interactions, and all the positives and negatives of who we are. It is a way to help us become more aware and interpret how we relate to everything.
