The Art of Creating and Letting Go

Our 4 year old granddaughter followed the lego package instructions, putting together a spider.

She then showed and explained the spider and its parts...

then dismantled it, moving onto the next thing in booklet of instructions.

This whole process reminded me of the land artist Andy Goldsworthy, who spends hours and hours in nature to create a piece of art. He then photographs the work, then leaves to allow things to be absorbed and go back into nature.

This whole process of taking an idea, bringing it to reality, then allowing it to fly or be reabsorbed for other purposes, is really about life, isn't it? We create or have an experience and then we are automatically carried along to the next moment and begin again.

Everything is temporary so enjoy the now.
