Removing the Layers

Reflection by Richard Edward Miller
Traveling through life we acquire different coverings from our environment.  We put them on as layers.

Some of us, when we are older, look down and wonder what is covering us? Who are we? Why am we keeping and clinging to this coat?

We may even decide to shed some of those layers to see how it feels without a certain cloak.

Some shed those layers and expose their nakedness.  It is then they discover who they really are.
