Pastry Class

Here of photos of our pastry making class. We are learning to make crustoda's, which is kind of like a pie shell and filled with a jam or fruit.

















I also learned that often they enrich a fruit dish by adding a liquor to the fruit, such as "Marshino" (which does NOT taste like maraschino cherries and is apparently difficult to come across in the USA).
AND, Nutella is made in Italy and one of the favorite snacks of kids.
