Metamucil recipes

Metamucil is made from psyllium seed husks and is a fiber supplement used to help a person poop. The company website specifies the need to consume Metamucil with a large glass of liquid. Alcohol is a liquid, but the website also says "there  may be a negative interaction with alcohol."

OK, it doesn't specifically say"no" which means some are probably going to interpret this one of those gray areas - like the FoodMonkey. They even have Metamucil and bar recipes such as
  • The Regular (Metamucil mixed with vodka)
  • The Backdraft (Metamucil, vodka, and tabasco)
  • The Copacabana (Metamucil, vodka, and fizzy vitamin supplement)
But wouldn't the better base be wine? After all, wine is liquid fermented grape juice. But then again, why would anyone want to ruin wine?

So rather than trying to find a way to make psyllium seed husks be more palatable, maybe the BEST option would be to just eat more natural fiber, like an apple a day, and bypass the ground up seed husks altogether.
