As a newly arrived senior citizen to old age, I have earned the privilege to post and say whatever I want before I croak. I may have wisdom here, or not. Much is based on my mood, which to be honest, is based on last nights dinner.

Sperlonga is a picture perfect post card hillside village about an hour south of Rome. You can see the Roman ruins surrounded by newer buildings. This used to be the resort area frequented by the ancient Roman emperors, such as Julius Ceaser.
