Paolo Nutini at Oakland's Fox Theater

Paolo Nutini, a singer songwriter from Scotland (not Ireland), was in Oakland's Fox Theater last night and was absolutely stupendous. His sultry and at times raspy voice was so filled with emotion that you couldn't help be moved and touched with each of his songs.

He had so much variety in his musical renditions; reggae, folk, jazz, pop, swing,...he can sing anything. Such a range, such talent, such variety. The Vipers provided the additional musical support and they kept us all tapping our feet, clapping to the beat, or dancing or swaying with the music.

For me, his Sunny Side Up Tour, was probably the best concert I have been to. Ever.

Yes, that is a good term for it...magical. Even Keith, who had never heard of him, thoroughly enjoyed the concert, too.

Thanks for the correction...he is from SCOTLAND, not Ireland. I've made the change in the blog. :-)
